Hendrik Amsterdam
Hendrik has been making pancakes in Vreeland since 1967. In Amsterdam it moved into Le Garage, for decades the best known brasserie in Oud-Zuid. We were there before the doors opened, with the teasers, and we have run the channels since.

About the client
Hendrik has been making pancakes in Vreeland, on the Vecht, since 1967, with flour ground at the De Ruiter windmill. Brothers Sjoerd and Folkert van der Linden brought the restaurant to Amsterdam and opened it in the former Le Garage on the Ruysdaelstraat. Tiles, wood and soft colours, families and grandparents at lunch, satay and a proper wine list at night. Accessible, but never cheap.
The collaboration
We started before the doors opened, with teasers for an address everyone in Zuid recognised and a name nobody knew yet. After the launch the work paused, and since June 2026 we have run it week in week out: Instagram and TikTok, Google Ads, and more recently TikTok campaigns. One part of the work is not aimed at guests at all. Hendrik hires through its own channels, on a line that lands in hospitality: hard work, and still home on time, no night shifts. Those posts bring in applications.
